In the rapidly growing city of Gurgaon near Delhi, a severe mosque shortage leaves Muslims with no choice but to pray in public spaces on Fridays. With only 13 mosques for over 500,000 people, makeshift prayer spaces have become the only option and yet they face relentless opposition.
No Space to Pray confronts the harsh realities faced by Muslims in Gurgaon as they struggle to preserve their faith amid rising tensions, growing divisions, and a climate of fear. This is a powerful and urgent look at the intersection of religion, identity, and the deepening fractures in contemporary India.
